People say that God is merciful, that He will have mercy upon us. God is infinitely merciful and bountiful to us, why do we voluntarily offend Him by our iniquities? The more He loads us with benefits, the more we ought to love Him, to be grateful to Him, and obedient to His holy commandments and requests. But where is this love? This gratitude? This obedience?
